How to properly maintain and maintain screw air compressor

Screw air compressor has been widely used in modern industry for its reliability and energy saving, and the correct maintenance and maintenance of screw air compressor plays a vital role in the service life and operational reliability of screw air compressor. 1, intake air filter element maintenance and maintenance.


The air filter is a part of filtering air dust and dirt, and the filtered clean air enters the compression chamber of the screw rotor for compression. Because the internal clearance of the screw machine only allows particles within 15u to filter out. If the air filter is blocked and damaged, a large number of particles greater than 15u enter the screw machine for internal circulation, not only greatly shorten the service life of the oil filter and oil fine separation core, but also lead to a large number of particles directly into the bearing chamber, accelerate bearing wear, increase the rotor clearance, reduce the compression efficiency, and even the rotor boring bite.


The empty filter element is maintained once a week. Unscrew the gland nut, take out the air filter element, use 0.2-0.4Mpa compressed air from the inner cavity of the air filter element to blow out the dust particles on the outer surface of the air filter element, and wipe the stolen goods on the inner wall of the air filter shell with a clean rag. Reinstall the air filter element, so that the sealing ring at the front end of the air filter element should be tightly fitted with the inner end face of the air filter shell.


Under normal circumstances, the air filter element is replaced every 1000-1500 hours, and the air filter element is replaced every 500 hours in the use of particularly harsh environments.


Note: When cleaning or replacing the air filter element, the components should be checked one by one to prevent foreign matter from falling into the intake valve. Usually, it is necessary to check whether the intake expansion pipe is damaged and sucked flat, and whether the connection port of the expansion pipe and the air filter intake valve is loose and leaking. If found, it must be repaired and replaced in time.


2, oil filter replacement.


The oil core should be replaced after the first 500 hours of operation of the new machine, and the oil filter should be removed with a special wrench. The screw oil should be added to the front of the new filter. The filter seal should be twisted back to the oil filter seat with both hands and tightly tightened.


It is recommended to replace the new filter element every 1500-2000 hours, replace the oil filter element at the same time when changing the oil, and shorten the replacement cycle when using in a harsh environment. It is strictly prohibited to use the oil filter element beyond the deadline.


3. Maintenance and replacement of oil separator.


The oil separator is a part that separates the screw lubricating oil from the compressed air. Under normal operation, the service life of the oil separator is about 3000 hours, but in the harsh use environment, the maintenance and replacement cycle of the air filter element must be shortened, and even the installation of a front air filter must be considered.


The oil separator must be replaced when it expires or the pressure difference between the front and back exceeds 0.12Mpa.


Replacement method: Remove the control pipe joints installed on the cover of the oil and gas drum. Take out the oil return pipe from the cover of the oil and gas drum into the oil and gas drum, and remove the fastening bolt from the top cover of the oil and gas drum. Remove the top cover of the oil and gas drum and remove the oil separator. Remove the asbestos pad and dirt stuck to the upper cover plate. Install a new oil separator, pay attention to the upper and lower asbestos pad must be nailed book, pressed the asbestos pad must be neatly placed, otherwise it will cause washout pad. Install the upper cover plate, return pipe and control pipe as is, and check whether there is leakage.


4. Maintenance and replacement of screw oil.


The quality of the screw oil has a decisive impact on the performance of the oil injection screw machine, good oil has good oxidation stability, rapid separation, good bubble clearing, high viscosity, good corrosion resistance, therefore, it is necessary to use pure special screw oil. The first oil replacement will be carried out after 500 hours of the new machine running-in period, and the new oil will be replaced every 2000 hours after operation. Replace the oil filter when changing the oil.


Replacement method: Start the compressor and run for 5 minutes, so that the oil temperature rises to more than 50 ¡ã C, and the oil viscosity decreases. Stop operation. When the pressure of the oil and gas barrel is 0.1Mpa, open the oil release valve at the bottom of the oil and gas barrel and connect the oil storage tank. Slowly open the oil valve, and close the oil drain valve after the lubricating oil becomes drip. Unscrew the oil filter element, drain the lubricating oil in each pipeline at the same time, and replace the new oil filter element. Open the filler plug, inject new oil, make the oil level within the range of the oil mark, tighten the filler plug, check whether there is leakage. During the use of lubricating oil, when the oil level line is found to be too low, new oil should be added in time, and condensate must be discharged frequently, discharged once a week, and discharged once every 2-3 days in high temperature climate. Lubricating oil is strictly prohibited from different brands of mixed use, do not use lubricating oil beyond the expiration date.


5. Maintenance of the cooler.


The heat dissipation effect of the cooler directly affects the use temperature of the air compressor. The cooler of the screw is upright, and it is necessary to blow the dry compressed air above 0.4Mpa from the outside to the inside during maintenance, and then clean up the dust and particles in the air deflector after blowing, to prevent the fan from blowing into the cooler again and causing blockage, causing high temperature of the machine.


In short, according to the operating procedures to regularly replace parts and lubricating oil, oil system and cooler waterway cleaning, a comprehensive record of operating parameters, regular analysis, to find out where the problem, timely maintenance is very necessary.
